Double dilutes help again?

Post by TheSpottedCat »

Help? I'm having troubles with some of these, and I might as well throw in them I'm probably already right about anyway in case I'm wrong. Hopefully I have not actually asked for help with any of these earlier.
My herd have a habit of being mixed with pretty much everything except the leopard complex colours.

I wanted to do these horses earlier, but my computer crashed and erased it all - sorry, haha ;)
Most are listed correctly, but - as dumb as I am - I didnt realize that before I typed everything. So here they are:

1) Metallic Gold Cream Champagne
2) Metallic Cremello
3) Metallic Amber Cream Champagne
4) Grey (Silver Amber Cream Champagne)
5) Silver Amber Cream Champagne
6) Buckskin Pearl - very interesting pedigree, just shows how lucky can be, being the closest visible pearl is like 5 generations back!
7) Classic Cream Champagne
8) Silver Amber Cream Champagne
9) Metallic Amber Cream Champagne

Pssst, take a look below!

Thank you so much ^^

I have and had several pearl horses descending from the same original horse. I had several pearl horses that did not make any pearl babies though. I can still hope for the next generations.
I had the same thing happen with flaxen and tiger eye. Suddenly it could show up where I did not expect it at all.

ER's Bracken had her first foal. I think she is a wild buckskin pearl going grey. She does not look exactly like her mother as a baby, but as I said I think she got grey from her father on top of it all.
ER's Frond

You can see two other pearl horses in Fronds pedigree on her fathers side too. I might be able to create a double pearl somehow, who knows ^^

I have some more I'm wondering about. Some I already know, but want conformation on, other... very confused still. I probably missed someone what I already should know. But that's okay, more purdy ponies for everyone.

ER's Light My Pumpkin

Dun? Just reeeally metallic?
ER's Hollow Choice

Metallic Silver Amber Cream Champagne (Tiger eye)?
ER's White Coffee

Why are you green horsie?
ER's Chai Latte

Gold Cream Champagne (Tiger eye)?
ER's Living On A Screen

Aaron P. Jr. GOLD

I say dun, and metallic?
ER's Trusty Shades

Okay, I think these last two are cremello. But Last Drink looks more like a pearl than cremello. Both her parents might carry the pearl gene. And both her parents carry cream. Maybe they just happen to be different shades.

I can't make out any dun...

Nah, Dunalino (= Palomino + Dun)
TheSpottedCat wrote:ER's White Coffee

Silver Amber Cream + 1 Tiger Eye, I think.
TheSpottedCat wrote:ER's Chai Latte

Gold Cream Champagne (Tiger eye)?
Perlino

Gold Cream, the eyes will probably darken. If not, Tiger eye.

Cremello Champagne - and I think neither Dun nor Metallic, not 100% sure, though.

Looks like two cremellos, yes. Pearl shows on Cream and both parents show no sign of Pearl while exhibiting Cream, so no on that. Sorry.

I have a different opinion on some:
Aaron - Cremello Champagne
White Coffee - Perlino Champagne

Didn't check/look on dun, some of the horsies may carry it.

On second look, I agree with you on Aaron. Will edit my post!
