Re: Community Outreach
The best way to earn money by training and selling is by doing grinder services. Choose cheap horses from the market, train them fully then post them as grinders on the market. If you open a sales topic specifically as grinder sales, you should have a fairly even income.Asgaard wrote:Player Name: Asgaard ( Asgaard Equestrian is my holding account)
Status (In need of money, Millionaire, etc.): Not doing bad, but also losing money fast, so I need to get better at making money
Account Age(Newbie, Junior, Senior, etc.): Newbie, been here less than a week
Goals: To get my training time under 3 ½ year, right now It's around 4 to 4 ½ years
Clubs(That you participate in): None
Services for the community (If any): None yet, I plan on being a public trainer when I'm better, maybe champing as well
Things that you need help with (If any): not right know, I think![]()
Ways that you're willing to help others: I don't feel I have the expertise to help with a lot of questions yet, nor the financial stability to help with money, but I might help with training later.
Questions: Well only one really, how do you all keep track of the breeds that are easier to sell? I want to make some money buying horses, training them and selling them again, but I want to make sure I can sell them after training.
Anything else that you want to add: I think this forum is a really great idea, and just a thanks to everybody how is making the help guides! I have been reading a lot of them over the last week and they really help make this game fun and more understandable
To choose a grinder potential from the market, find one that is between HGP 45,000 and 65,000, no red stats, try to find only average or better stats (those are the BR comments). You're not upgraded so you can't see scores, but don't worry about seeing the conformation scores. That doesn't affect grinders that much.
Chose those that are 3 years and under to train. Base price is negotiable. Most people do like to know what to grind their grinder at, so by including what the horse pulls level 9 and 10 in locals at, is helpful. Try in-hand comps first, sometimes that's the spot. For light-style horses, try racing or english, for heavier, try driving or western. You should get your answer fairly fast.
You should be able to drop-sell (quick-sell) a grinder for at least $25,000 in no time at all. So that really should be your bottom price.
Anything else, let us know!
