I do it like this:
Select a horse > Gallery (from the Menu) > Load Image (beneath red frame) > scale/move image (optional) > Save Image

Though I should say that while I can scale the image, I can't move it. Might by my browser though. (Edge)

When you are on your horse's page there is a bar right above the the profile (where the breeding report and training report are shown) that has six options: information, training, showing, breeding, gallery, and owner options. Click on "gallery" and scroll down until you find a blank box with the button "Load Image" under it - click load image and a small image of your horse should appear in the box as well as the button "Save Image" and a bar with a tab where you can resize the image in the box. Just move the tab until you're happy with how the horse is framed in the box and click "Save Image". Viola! Your horse should now have a profile picture! :D

It's a bug that crept in with an update back in Feb. It only happens if you're viewing your horse on the pasture/barn page. If you open up the horse in it's own page (using the + button) you should find that you can move the image.

I have officially done everything that was suggested. Im able to move the picture when im in the pasture or barn. But nothing shows up. Its just not going to work for me. I dont know what else to do, i guess its not meant for me.

What do you mean nothing shows up, obviously the picture loads as you can move it, don't forget you have to save it, sometimes that can take 10 seconds so be patient

First follow my instructions in the post above:
Midnight Rose wrote:... open up the horse in it's own page (using the + button) you should find that you can move the image.
Then follow Byakko's post above that:
Byakko wrote:Gallery (from the Menu) > Load Image (beneath red frame) > scale/move image (optional) > Save Image
The moving part itself is just click and drag
