Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Additionally, if you ever have any Akhal Tekes you want to sell, but not rehome, I'd be interested to consider buying.
I don't care much for titles or percentages. Percentages don't matter in breeding, if I'm just making Kathiawaris out of them it only matters that they have both the breed names in it to create soo...

Okay, I ask here in the future.

I love your project!! If I can be of help, I would love to. I am breeding POAs and I noticed that you ideal stallions fit the POA stats minus the height. If any one wants to use some of my Appys, I would be willing to brood or stud. My COIs can be high but I have some intense color. If you want to add color to you NP, let me know if you want to use any of my horses and what you would like to pay. You will need to have a tall Akhal Teke or deal with the height issue as you go. Anyway, let me if I can be of help.

This sounds like a great partnership for our so-far small breeding community. :) The COIs may not be a problem as we try to bring in a lot of diverse breeding stock. I visited your appy mares and appy stallions pastures, and these four are my current top picks for the program (shown below). I was looking for height 12.0hh+, so that in one or two gens the height can be at the minimum of 14.0-14.2hh for Nez Perce. I was also looking for obvious spotting, big markings, and at least average stamina, agility, tempo, and balance. I am actually trying to breed for some taller Akhal Tekes atm, so this could work well.

My current favs:
Unnamed Horse #315975

QHF Wild Eye Pete

Unnamed Horse #315969

QHF Hades Fairy

I have an Akhal-Teke colt that is already 16.0hh I'd like to breed to one of your mares, possibly QHF Hades Fairy, once he's matured.
Tinder

If you want to decide which horses of the above, or in another pasture, you would like to offer for breeding. Please add a photo to their gallery and let me know what the breeding fee will be. I am excited to have you as an honorary member of the NP breeding team! ;)

Thank you. I would love to be a part. I might just have to have a few myself.

You are welcome to brood Fairy. I generally move pretty fast so as soon as he is mature let me know. Also you will need to try to get rid of THAT Shetland mane. LOL
I will put all those boys up for $500. (I put Nez Perce in their headlines.) Also I gave the unnamed guys Nez Perce names. I do heavy culling so I need to remember not to cut them loose.
You may want to look at this guy. I sold him because he was too tall but I think he fits the bill. His stud fee is high but he might be worth a try. No heavy spots but he does have height.

BTW, I love Tinder. So we could an exchange if you like. One brood for one breeding. He sure is pretty. I will pick a different mare so we get a bit of variety.

I am thinking this little girl.
