Club Positions Filled For Now - Thank You!

Post by BlackOak2 »

I'm willing to walk a new-to-training through a regime as well. But you will need to have at least half of your skills already learned. Half of your skills learned should result in somewhere under 4 years trained. Half of your skills learned will take about 3 months of your real time (give or take and not accounting for the player attribute points). You Do Not need to be upgraded, you Do Not need to have a freeze account. But both of these will help.

Payment will come from each member separately, junior members will get a discount, senior members will pay optimum price. We, like everybody else, are backed up. A few of our members have their own trainers or train themselves, but some of our members are struggling to get their horses trained. I, like our president, train our own, but we may also request a training spot or two IF you have them available. Neither I, or the president are included in your club coverage.

We require not full training, but training for the following disciplines:
Harness Racing; Racing; Sprint Racing; Steeplechase
These cover the following stats:
Speed, Strength, Stamina, Tempo, Agility

If you need help with a training regime, I have only found that the 'full style' will cover those stats to fulfill all four of those disciplines, and I will give that person the regime to use. With the 'full style' regime used, there will be a time-savings of about 10%, which equates to a couple turns to a couple months at the very end of the training.
However, if a club member wants training for just one or two of those disciplines, and you have a training regime that fits that, of course you are free to design or redesign a better program.

This does NOT have to be a permanent position. I am fine training a person for a set-term to eventually release them into the public training forums, if they so choose.

Payments To You.
Junior members will pay only $10,000 for each horse trained.
Senior members will pay $20,000 for each horse trained.
While remaining as a private trainer in the club, you will get a monthly stipend of $200,000 regardless of if you train for our members that month or not. Regardless of how many you train. And as long as you Are Available to train. If you disappear for some reason, the stipend will be deducted at $50k each week you're missing. The stipend will likely come from myself or the president, we will be responsible for covering it.
We will also only allow any member to send you No More than 2 horses for training from their accounts Per Week. This is to protect you and so you won't get overwhelmed. If this is too many horses, too suddenly, we can start you off with just one horse per week per member.
If you find yourself with free spots, you can post to the club that you can take more. Only At That Time, will the club allow our club members to override the rule (in requests of 2 horses at a time).
This concludes to, at the time of this posting, no more than 20 horses in a week, if every member requests training (not counting my horses or the president's horses). If you can fulfill all 20 horses, this will result in a minimum of $360,000 in profit every week (without counting the monthly stipend and without any tips included).

Other Info
If joining the club as the private trainer, this will allow you to join the club also as a full member. You will also receive full member status (either as a junior or as a senior), but your designation will be 'Trainer'. Which means that if a club member needs a horse trained in a racing discipline (not necessarily a club horse, but NOT a horse that falls outside of the club competitions covered), you will need to fulfill that need.
You will, at your request of full membership, also receive your club foundation horse.
Until you exit your designation as 'club trainer' you must remain exclusively private as a trainer for the club. Which means you cannot train publicly, but doesn't extend to the occasionally help in training a 'friends' horse, as long as it doesn't interfere with the club training.
During training, remember that the horses-in-training can be used as a grinder, but NOT as player-made competitors.
These horses Can Not be used by you as breeders or studs.
These horses Will Only return to the club member you received them from.

In the event that the club member has temporarily disappeared or appears to have permanently disappeared, you can return these horses to the president or myself if you cannot hold onto them.
If, at that time, the president or myself have made a determination that a club member has disappeared in 'permanent manner' (with or without club member opinion), we will make a decision on the disposition of that horse or horses.

Re: The Leopard Tb Club is looking for a permanent or semi-permanent private trainer!

Hi, I an kind of a new trainer but I am getting better at it, and this seems like a really good opportunity to expand my training skills. I have completed some of the training courses, and am working on completing more as we speak. I am absolutely fine with this being a temporary position. I would not be able to start taking horses for a day or so because I am almost maxed out on the number of horses I can own, but after I rectify that I would be happy to start if you think I would be a good fit.

I'm more than willing to give you a try. :D

Can you copy and post your player stats so I can see where you're at on your skill learning?

 You're really early on your training skills. Not too big a deal. I can work with it and with you, but you will be moving rather slowly. The biggest problem, so you understand, is your training of the horses will be probably about 6 years out for training a single horse.

But you are willing to train and this will indeed be a good opportunity for you, so of course I'll be willing to work with you. However, until we can get your stats to about halfway through learned (full learning is 40% in each stat and also energy saver, aka training intensity) I won't feel comfortable opening you up to the rest of the club in full blown status. There's a few of the higher competitions that require only young stock, so the quicker a trainer can train, the better off the club will be. :D

When you're ready to take a horse for training, we'll get started. I'll prepare one that you can royally screw up (should that happen) without any penalty and even pay you full price for it, whatever happens. At that time, we'll also meet in chat so I can forward to you, your regime so you can start working on the horse. This will also include a timeframe for what you can expect to take how long and when you can expect to be finishing each step.

Afterward (or during, if you have issues), we'll talk about where you might've gotten stuck or where you think you might've screwed up. We'll also at that time talk about set-term or permanent position, if you think you might want to pursue either option.

I will also pay you for your trial horse when he or she is finished the amount equal to a full monthly stipend. So whether this works out for you or not, you will be fully compensated for your learning and trial period.

Sound good?

This sounds perfect, thank you. This is more than I expected, as much of a newbie as I am :D. I just sent two of my horses off to be champed, so I have room to work with another horse now and then when my current course is done I can do the next horse-ownership course. But how do I get to the chat? I don't have premium?

For your first training lesson, here's a skills reminder:

Do the shorter courses (like 2 hours) while you're online. When you go to log off, pause the current skill lesson, and start a really long one (like 10 hours), to run and learn overnight.

I haven't yet had a chance to produce a horse for you to trial, so I will go to the market to fulfill the need. Give me a couple minutes and I'll get right back to you.
