Collaborated Breeding Report

Post by Aela »

I know this was discussed a few days ago, so I'm looking for people interested in compiling a list of the Breeding Report comments.

I already have quite a few written down, but getting other perspectives is always good, as it is mainly based on horses I have owned and their strengths/weaknesses. Sharing a complete (as much as possible) list with everyone on HWO is the end goal, especially when the game develops and more players arrive :)

This is what I currently have, and it's open for everyone to edit:

I hope this is something that people are interested in :)

I have quite a few comments saved from the beta when I tried to collect all the comments I could find. I have added a few but I also noticed that some comments are doubled (on strength for example there is a comment in both the green an non-green section). And how is this about green/red supposed to work? I have noticed that some comments occur both in regular black text and green/red on different horses.

From what I have been able to understand....

The comments are on a "range" type of score.

Comment 1 (red ink): Can range between a 1-25
Comment 1 (black ink): Can range between 15-35
Comment 2 (black ink): Can range between 25-45
Comment 3 (green ink): Can range between 35-55

There is a "score" or numerical value (as all programs have) for ALL the Disciplines that we cannot physically see. We can only see the comment by the breeding report. With that information we can deduct where the horse is "likely" to fall in the range category.

I hope that makes sense! And I hope I'm right, being a new player. :D

My thought with the doubled comments was to note which appeared both as top/bottom tier (green/red) as well as regular "black" comments :)

Using tempo as an example, I have seen both comments many times, but only one of them in a "green" version
"Who needs a watch when you've got this stallion/mare, he's/she's got great tempo" - both regular and green
"Seems to have an even tempo, looks good" - only regular

The BR system is based on a ratings from 1-100 I believe

I hope my weird explanation is understandable ;)

Green/red on the breeders report is caused by a set score (<10 for red >65 for green). But each comment covers a scale so one comment could be a score of 8 on one horse (and be red) but 11 on another (and be black).

It might be my observations are wrong, but that is what those doubled comments serve to prove.

Ok, I have kept a list of all the comments that I ever saw, where the double occurance comments were listed with both black and red/green text (one word black, next word red/green etc) to keep the list short. There are quite a few comments, like 5-6 in both directions, that can be either black or red/green as far as I know. So if they are to be written down twice the list will be much longer than neccessary.

If you would allow me to I could edit the comments in your document to match my list where I arranged the comments to keep track of which ones are "middle ground" between regular and red/green.

I know this already, but I was referring to the document and how this was meant to be represented in the list. :)
