Completely Overwhelmed!

You start off with a goal... an idea of what you want to create. You are set on that goal, and you go looking for the horses you need to fulfill that goal....

Browsing through the horses for sale, you see the cutest thing that catches your eye, and BAM! You buy it. No matter it won't get you to your goal.... because now your goal has become diluted, and changed, derailed....

I started with the idea to breed the Calabrese, because I think they are a wonderful breed, and they aren't available yet. But.... I got derailed.

I want to breed purebred horses, but I keep buying mixes because they are just so cute and they "call" to me....

Anyone else have this problem?

I love my Aegidienbergers to bits, buuuuuuuut sometimes stuff just happens ;)

I get an idea and BOOM, out pops a crossbred foal. Sometimes it works out (I've got a wonderful Shire x Arabian after one of your stallions)

I've somehow went from the Calabrese goal to wanting Arabians with tufts to Dutch Warmbloods to huge Thoroughbreds with cropped manes and tufts on their feet to spots and tiny Arabians...

I'm sure I will focus eventually! But for now I think the genetics of this game are awesomely well done.

Is it even possible to get cropped manes with tufts on their feet? I don't know if those are the same code or separate.

And I know there is a term for the tuft, but for the life of me I just can't remember it..... Feathers! Right? O.o

Like this horse I bought yesterday.... She's a 100% Grade, but she's gorgeous! She has green eyes it looks like.

I definitely get distracted by "cool to me" horses in the sales, or "what if I breed that to this" for the heck it. And part of me wants a horse of every breed and that won't even fit in an account!
