Anyone Else From Australia?
Hi! So some people may of noticed while others didn’t but I am actually an Australian. Yes, I live in the US currently, but I was born and for the most part raised in New Castle Australia! I made this forum because I Want to find someone who says things like me
. Also, if you have an American Accent please translate these things. Lol Australians call things a lot different than Americans. Here they (some of these things I have never heard before, eraser, candy, cart shoppings, and why do you eat peanut butter and jam?!

Hello! An eraser is something that you use on paper and it clears all the writing! For example, if you are writing an essay, and you mess up, an Eraser will erase ( clear, delete, etc) all the writing. Candy, is sweet food. It is made of sugar ( lots of sugar lol) and it can consist of chocolate flavor, fruit flavor, or many more! Cart shoppings? Do you mean shopping carts? Well if so, a shopping cart, is a container on wheels, that you can put stuff in. Like if you go somewhere ( like a market) you use a grocery cart to hold your stuff, and since it has wheels, you can push it around with you, to keep shopping. Peanut butter and Jam? I really have no answer, but I guess it just goes together and sounds pretty well together! Lol! I hope this helps! Any clarifications? Any questions? Just ask!

Even after moving to US I can’t figure out why they eat jam and peanut butter!Renegade_TB_Stables wrote:Hello! An eraser is something that you use on paper and it clears all the writing! Peanut butter and jam, or peanut butter and jelly, or peanut butter and fruit spread. There's a couple different types of fruit preserves (and also one CALLED fruit preserves). It's a legume and fruit thrown together on a sandwich. You get the rich, usually toasted or roasted taste of a nut-like legume combined with the sweet fruit flavorings of the preserves.Strawberry Unicorn wrote:..Renegade_TB_Stables wrote:..
There is a combination, usually, to fit anybody's taste. Some like grape jelly, some like strawberry. I prefer the blackberry or the raspberry. It's almost like eating a 'lollie' treat that's only semi-sweet, plus it offers fairly decent nutritional value (arguably).
As far as HOW it came to be... you might want to read up on the 'History of Peanut Butter'. Here's two off-site links that may serve you some tasty information.

https://www.newyorker.com/books/page-tu ... nut-butter
https://www.kitchenproject.com/history/ ... butter.htm
P.S. I only scanned them, they might be very similar, or almost word-for-word.
Don't forget to check it out!

rubber -> eraser
lolly -> candy
Vegemite and butter -> Penut butter and jelly
LOL
Common question an Aussie asks in the US:
Who is Jojo Siwa? [seriously anyone cares to explain]
Where can I find Vegemite [forever!]
Where is the closest health food store?
Anyone else loves Acai bowls [me me I do]
