Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.

I'm so very proud of my ladies.

Now I need to work on breeding as many high quality colts. My farm is definitely cursed with fillies for like 75-80% of foals born at least lol

I'm trying to add color to my lines without sacrificing an overall 4/5 POA
Congrats on your colts!
I would love to breed to guy if possible!

Re: Pony of the Americas
Hi POA people!
I normally breed racing thoroughbreds but recently (in the past two ish weeks) have started breeding for POAs. I've gotten a few so far (I'll link them below). Anyways, I was wondering if this community/forum is still active at all. I haven't found one yet that has more recent activity. The reason I ask is because my gene pool is so small (again POAs are my secondary breed as of right now) and there are never public studs or horses for sale. I have tried to buy some appaloosas, however most of the horses that score a 5 on the appy eval all have the AF brand (can't remember their user, sorry). Unfortunately, I don't really have the time to start breeding appaloosas in addition to the projects I already have, so if any of you all still breed POAs and have any that I could breed to or buy (preferably under 50k) please let me know. I would be happy to offer some of mine up if that works too.
Thank you in advance!
