Very annoying! I hate that. change the name if you must but be polite and keep the breeders prefix.

Exactly! Sadly, I don't think a lot of those who buy horses think before they rename, which is why we really need unchangeable prefixes/suffixes ;)

I would be up for not being able to change the name at all after first name was given, unless it is offensive or something (then have a report function or forum area for that).

Go figure, I change a few things in my breeding program and convince myself to sell him aaaaand he gets rehomed by his new owner. ;(

Oh that was the first thing. As soon as the horse sold, boom, name changed. I had even requested in the notes box that the suffix not be removed. Change the name is fine, just don't remove the suffix. Nope. Name changed and suffix gone. And then rehomed...

And this is why I seldom sell horses I actually like.
