Welcome to the Oriental Horse Breeders Association!
In this club we strive to breed beautiful, realistic, oriental horse breeds with good stats. The breeds that we accept are Arabians, Akhal-Tekes, Turkmenes, and Barbs.

Information On The Accepted Breeds:
1. Arabian (or Arab)
Known for their dished faces and and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the oldest horse breeds. It originated in the deserts of Middle East. Notable features are an arched neck, short back, strong bones and of course, the famous high set tail and refined, wedge shaped head. Height is about from 14.1 to 15.1 hands high.

2. Akhal-Teke
The Akhal-Teke originated in Turkmenistan and is related to the extinct Turkmene. They often have a metallic sheen to their coat and are well known for being buckskin or palomino. This why they have the nickname, "Golden Horses". Notable features are a long back, refined head, and that proud upright neck.

3. Turkmene (or Turkoman Horse)
The Turkmene originated in Turkmenistan (hence the name) and is an extinct breed of horse. They were around 15 to 16 hands high and a few notable features are their long neck, long back, and long, sleder, but strong legs. They also had a metallic sheen.

4. Barb (or Berber horse)
This horse originated in Africa. Notable features are a sloping croup, high withers, and a low tail set. They are around 14.2 to 15.2 hands high. They also have good stamina and endurance.

The Horses:
In order for a horse to be registered it has to fit the registration standards found in the registry page and be at least 90% pure in it's breed. Remember, we are trying to get them to look as realistic as possible. (But we try not to be too strict) They also have to be one of the accepted breeds. If you know another oriental breed that you would like accepted into the registry, let me know!

Breaking any of the rules more than three times.
