Aela's Aegidienbergers

Post by Aela »

Welcome to the Sølvfjeld Horses Farm Log
I use the prefix [SFH]
Edit as of August 2018:
After three years, I've decided to quit breeding my beloved Aegidienbergers. COI got too high, and the overall quality too low. Now I log on for a brief bit of fun whenever I have time, and want to focus on other projects that aren't as time consuming and restricting as trying to establish and maintain a breed on its own. It def was a fun run while it lasted, though, so I'll keep my old logs up! :)

Outdated as of August 2018:
I am the owner of Aegidienbergers and want to breed lovely horses with good quality and nice colours! This post will function as a project tracker for my development within the breed and on the grand global competition board, and also to introduce people to this lovely breed.

Hall of Fame
The most important horses of Sølvfjeld Farms
(Some of the horses have home-drawn tack that I drew on my computer without a drawing pad or any tools whatsoever, so it's not the best. I think it's allowed since it goes under the "fan art" category, right? If not I'll just delete)

SCh++Rh [SFH] Storm Sølvfjeld
Highest Rankings:
Saddleseat Rank: 4th on points, 5th on wins, 4th on earnings
Cross Country Rank: 11th on points, 9th on wins, 10th on earnings
World Records: Saddleseat L7

This is the first horse I ever trained and competed that I decided to keep on my second account. He's a very nice dark bronze-like silver bay dun with overall good stats and fine conformation. He has the record of points and wins between my horses (and an annoying glob of brown something on his picture with drawn-on tack that I'm too lazy to delete)

[SFH] Storm Sølvfjeld

__________

SCh++ [SFH] Freyr Sølvfjeld
Highest Rankings
Saddleseat Rank: 18th on wins, Level 10
Cross Country Rank: 3rd on points, 5th on winnings, 7th on earnings
World Records: None

A lovely Silver Black mare with loads of dapples that resembles the near-perfect build for my Aegidienbergers. Good stats and +6 for Saddleseat traits - a big achievement when I first bred her. (From the time where conformation stats were often minus-something)
[SFH] Freyr Sølvfjeld

__________

SCh++Rh [SFH] Oðinn Sølvfjeld
Highest Rankings:
Cross Country Rank: 6th on points, 4th on wins, 7th on earnings
World Records: Cross Country L8

One of my first red-based champagnes. Great grandson of Storm
[SFH] Oðinn Sølvfjeld

__________

SCh++Rh [SFH] Dagvi Sølvfjeld
Highest Rankings:
Cross Country Rank: 18th on points
World Records: Cross Country L4

One of the recent additions to my competing horses, Dagvi is exactly (!) how I want my Aegidienbergers to look. No negative remarks and 1 green
[SFH] Dagvi Sølvfjeld

__________

MGCh+[SFH] Asbjorn Sølvfjeld
Saddleseat Rank: Level 10
Cross Country Rank: 10th on points, 12th on wins, 14th on earnings
World Records: None

A very big gold champagne stallion with both Oðinn and Storm in his pedigree. Notable for his +16 conformation in Saddleseat traits. (From the time where conformation stats were often minus-something)
[SFH] Asbjorn Sølvfjeld

__________

[SFH] Freyður Sølvfjeld
A young stallion in training. He has a very interesting silver black colour without dapples unlike my other horses. This guy is my new favourite with his looks, build and stats. 100% win rate so far

Home-drawn tack i "made" before wearables were introduced to the game

Thank you! I really can't wait for HWO to introduce wearables and such, so I found something to soothe my inner "wearables" impatience ;)

Thanks! Silver is - as it might appear a tiiiiny bit - my favourite colour modifier :lol: It took ages to breed it into my horses though...

Nice! I've seen your Percherons and they'll definitely be nice with a splash of silver :)

Danish Breed Project

So I have decided to start up a new project, which is the long process of creating HWO available Danish breeds from the very bottom! Project has been on hold for 2 years, and now is the time to restart ;)

The horses include:
