Re: What Color is My Horse? Quick Guide by Ancient Breed
complete now, afaik

Re: What Color is My Horse? Quick Guide by Ancient Breed
Should be pinned or higher up in my opinion.
What can be added now is: Lp for Shetland and Tarpan (LP/LP, LP/lp, lp/lp for each).
Would also add e/e or E/E even if that's the only variant (E/E for Tarpans for example).
I suppose Tarpans are D/D though (you write a second possibility with D/d), otherwise you could have a chance for d/d and i have never seen that unless it was mixed.
Forest Horses are E/E, E/e, e/e but A/A (not A/a), you can find chestnuts but no real blacks, just very sooty dark brown/bay/chestnut.
Not silver should be z/z not f/f.
Nice guide

Saw these guys in the AC:Argent wrote:FOREST HORSE
A/A, A/a (Bay)

They look chestnut/red dun to me.

Re: What Color is My Horse? Quick Guide by Ancient Breed
For them to be bay, they need to be black based. Agouti doesn't affect red based coats. If you were to breed them to a black horse, the result would likely be a mealy bay foal.nyraeia wrote:They look chestnut/red dun to me.

I was suggesting there being a possibility of AC FHs being chestnut.a tired smile wrote:For them to be bay, they need to be black based. Agouti doesn't affect red based coats. Djeraya mentioned this earlier, so I didn't really bother with posting it. But yeah, I agree with you nyraeia that there are some chestnut Forest Horses roaming the AC and if it helps any, I understood you. x'D

Thank you, Dev. I wasn't sure if I was missing or misinterpreting something.

Re: What Color is My Horse? Quick Guide by Ancient Breed
Hey,
I am new to this game, but I am so addicted by now
I have problems with the colors of my horses. I have forest horse mare, tarpan mare, and colt prewalski x forest horse. he is young, but seems to have red in the mane and tail, cream colored body, and some gray in the legs... any help with my horses would be great

Re: What Color is My Horse? Quick Guide by Ancient Breed
maybe a dumb question, but I'm new to the game ^^
where can I find these 'signs' (like a/a for black) at my horse's profile? because I want to determine the colour of some of my horses, but I can't find the 'signs' anywhere :')
