Model Horses?
Hi all! I know a lot of you collect horses, so here are my *unofficial* models:

Most are schleich, but there are a few off- brands (Blue Ribbon, Safari, Happy meals
). They live at my mothers office. To explain that, she is a children’s counselor, so the kids like to play with toys while they talk (they’re all so sweet! I love them all to bits). The top picture is just some regular ponies, but the second are more mystical ones (I have some unicorns, Pegasi, fairy horses, and knight steeds).
What do y’all collect? Breyers? And is it bad that I, And old human (upper high school years) play with them like a 5 year old? Because I see no problem whatsoever.

Wow, that's a lot! No worries, because when my newest edition came in earlier today and I played horses outside immediately afterward, and I'm a high school senior!KYTrainer wrote:Hi all! I know a lot of you collect horses, so here are my *unofficial* models:

I collect Schleich, but I have some Breyer Stablemates and three traditional Breyers.

Re: Model Horses?
Yes, most of them I got about 10 years ago, at a garage sale! I got the whole boxThundermare wrote:Wow, that's a lot! When my mom asked if she could have them for her office, I said yes. So, I really don't know any of their names and/or models. But they are all like 2005 models.

Re: Model Horses?
If it's bad that you're an old human playing with plastic ponies, then I must be irredeemable because I'm 27 and collect, customize, and play with them. xD
Honestly one of the best moments of my adult life was realizing, "Hey, I'm an adult, I have an income, I can buy plastic ponies if I want!" And I never looked back. xD
One of my big goals for when I get my own place is a nice china or curio cabinet to display my herd. Most of them are living on the floor/misc surfaces and I'd love to be able to show them off properly.

oh man, my 12yr old self would be screaming with glee if I had this cause I would go to Miss Tiggy Winkle's to get the catalogue book and just circle all the animals I wanted.
I do have one or two plastic horse models, my favourite being a small RCMP horse

Re: Model Horses?
Omg I have every schliech and breyer horse you can imagine. I didn’t even have enough room to put them all in my attic. So now 13 year old me has 4 large boxes in my room FULL of model horsesKYTrainer wrote:Hi all! I know a lot of you collect horses, so here are my *unofficial* models:

Honestly, I feel like that will be me in the near future. Plastic horses aren't just for little kids!Hazel wrote:If it's bad that you're an old human playing with plastic ponies, then I must be irredeemable because I'm 27 and collect, customize, and play with them. xD
