Re: Books
I just tested your account and I was able to use your Dartmoor book. Perhaps this is a big with your browser. What browser and version are you using?

Re: Books
The dartmoor is standing in my list by the evaluation. Maybe its just working and i just dont understand it xD
When i click on it i see a list with height and stuff. And with poor or good. Need all of the 5 things good of i want to have that race or? Cant find something that explains it good and im trying to make a dartmoor horse. I bred a exmoor pony mare with a araber × welsh mountain pony. In the wiki it says with this combination you should get a dartmoor so it have to right?

Re: Books
The book simply evaluates each horse against the requirement size/type for that breed. Just helps with breeding decisions so you can use horses with more/less body size, pony/horse type etc..

Re: Books
but how do i use it

Re: Books
A Dartmoor is Exmoor Pony x [ Arabian x Welsh Mountain Pony ], so if you evaluated your Arabian x Welsh Mountain Pony (or Exmoor) with the Dartmoor book you could see how close that pony was to a Dartmoor and decide wether it's worth using to breed Dartmoors or not

Re: Books
You use it exactly like you did. You press evaluate and then you can see the values for type etc and if it is in dartmoor range. The wiki only shows which breeds to use and what height the ponys should have, additional criteria are in this book.
You don't need the book to create a breed and a book doesn't guarantee the breed - it is only literally the manual.

Re: Books
You can use my pony ranch as an example and look at if you like. (Click on "visit my farm button" to the right of this message.) I am trying for spotted POAs. A POA is a Shetland x Appaloosa. You will notice if you look at any of my appys or Shetlands that I added have a number in the comments for each horse. That is their rating (1*-4*) from the breed book. I am keeping only Appys that rate 4* in the POA book (with some exceptions with cool spots) and 2*POA rating or higher Shetlands (they are a little behind the Appys in progress, but they have such short legs we cut them some slack!). I breed 4* appys to 4* shetlands and if I am LUCKY, I get POA. I have created a few.
You may also notice that I have POA crosses (purchased from another breeder) that may not have numbers the comments because since they are part POA I am breeding them to pure POAs to get pure POA so the breed book is not as important since I am crossing POA not trying to create POA from their formula (appy x Shetland). Hope that helps and makes sense!
