Unofficial HWO Parenting Thread!
I noticed that there's a huge base of older players on here and I thought it would be nice to have a topic for any parents to share/ask for advice as well as just share anecdotes about their experiences as a parent.
In regards to advice: This is probably pretty obvious but I should just say when I say advice I don't mean come here seeking any sort of professional or medical advice. If you have any genuine concerns about your child then a professional should always be your first port of call!
I will start us off by introducing myself, my name (IRL and in game) is Alaina and my husband and I have one 14 month old son. I am a stay at home mom and while it can be overwhelming at times I would not change my circumstances for anything.
The other day I was fixing lunch and LO (Little One) escaped out the back door. I caught him just in time to watch him stick a piece of fresh dog doo right in his mouth!

I homeschool my 12 year old too. I can certainly empathize with the challenges of being home all the time.
So did you get all grossed out or did you try to get a picture? lol

Well I didn't wanna kiss him afterward, that's for sure! But I was mainly amused. He later ended up having an accident on the deck and the dogs cleaned that up so I guess now he and the dogs are even.cndysue83 wrote:I homeschool my 12 year old too. I have a 2 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. My daughter was born at 23 weeks and is high functioning on the Autism Spectrum. I am a stay at home mom/ Student. Kids are very good at grossing you out lol.

I'm a single mom to an almost 2 year old little girl. She is currently dipping her hair in the milk from her cereal bowl. Ahhhh, toddlers.

Single mom of two little girls. 5 year old and almost 3 month old. 5 year old acts like she's 16 at times and the 3 month old is at the cute stage. No grossing out from either of them unless its an exploded diaper.
