Competition for Cash! You decide.

Hi all

I have some of extra cash and I've been thinking of running of competition to give away $5-10k each week.

BUT: which do you think would be more fun?

A) Horse Trivia Competition?

B) Breeding Treasure Hunt (ie. first person to breed a black Akhal-Teke from scratch and post a link here, I will buy that horse for £10k)


Obviously A is easier, but is there any appetite for B?
Any other thoughts or ideas for what would be the most fun? (Caption Contest? Foal Naming Competition?)

Weird to think I've been on HWO for almost 12 years now - I feel like I should give something back!

I think the breeding one would be fun, but because of the increased turns available it would be significantly easier (well quicker) for premium players to compete successfully. So I guess something where its a really level playing field like option A might run smoother

I agree with Weaving. Breeding challenges are fun, but I think so many people have such a plethora of projects they are working on with such a premium on horse space that it would deter entrances. The horse trivia would be fun and it would be easier to execute with more players.

Good point - thanks guys. I want this to be fair for everyone. Trivia challenge it is!

I've decided to give away £20k for the first giveaway, so I need to come up with a good question tomorrow. I'll have a think and consult my riding manuals from my riding instructor and trainer days...
