Part and Mixed Breeds in Breed Rankings
One thing I was wondering about is why are part and mixed breeds allowed in the Top Breed Rankings if they are not allowed in breed-specialist competitions? It seems wrong somehow for those of us focusing hard on improving the quality of our purebreds.
Maybe there can be a Mixed Breed & Grade Rankings Category for these horses?

They're fine where they are. If they're beating out the purebreds, they're obviously the better horses and deserve those placings. If want to search by breed, you're able to do that.

Re: Part and Mixed Breeds in Breed Rankings
I actually kind of agree with this... I personally keep mixed as well as pure, but it would be nice to maybe have a tick box to include/exclude mix/part horses from the top horse rankings?

Re: Part and Mixed Breeds in Breed Rankings
The Ranking System will be getting an overhaul in a future update for both horses and owners/breeders.

Re: Part and Mixed Breeds in Breed Rankings
I agree with Argent, but think that an option to view the top list with just purebreds would also be reasonable.

Re: Part and Mixed Breeds in Breed Rankings
Thanks Larissa.
And apologies, let me clarify as I think I wasn't all that clear before. I definitely agree that mixed breeds should be included in the Overall Rankings. If they're beating out the purebreds, they deserve to be there.
My point was really about the *specific breed rankings*. If I filter for "Norfolk Trotter", for example, I expect to see purebred Norfolk Trotters but the list is almost entirely composed of mixed breds. If mixed breds aren't allowed in the Norfolk Trotter breed competitions, then they shouldn't be in the Top Breed Rankings. It means the competitions don't consider them purebreds, but the rankings do, which is strange.

Re: Part and Mixed Breeds in Breed Rankings
That makes sense. A x B should not be listed in the breed rankings, but the game considers Part/Mixed/Half Breed A toward the population count for that breed, so they should stay in there; horses with that sort of breeding are "purebred" insofar as they only consist of one breed, even if they have not yet reached 100% of that breed.

Re: Part and Mixed Breeds in Breed Rankings
Yup. Right now the Norfolk Trotter list looks like this (names and owners removed):
1. Norfolk Trotter x Percheron, Stallion
2 Norfolk Trotter x Thoroughbred, Mare
3 Norfolk Trotter x Arabian, Stallion
4 Half Norfolk Trotter, Stallion
5 Norfolk Trotter x Percheron, Mare
6 Norfolk Trotter x Arabian, Mare
7 Half Norfolk Trotter, Stallion
8 Part Norfolk Trotter x Belgian, Stallion
9 Norfolk Trotter x Cleveland Bay, Stallion
10 Norfolk Trotter x Cleveland Bay, Stallion
I think only two of those horses (number 4 and number 7) would be allowed in breed specific comps, but the rest wouldn't be allowed to enter them -- thus, they would probably be better placed under a "Grade/Mixed Breed" breed filter instead.

Re: Part and Mixed Breeds in Breed Rankings
As the owner of one of those "Half Norfolk Trotter" stallions, I will sponsor several NT-only Harness Races; let's see who can enter them.
The ratings change often. When I looked at them about 3 minutes ago, there were 15 total, with 13-15 being "pure" NTs.
