Hi, haven't really talked much recently but I was just curious how all your projects were going :D
I'm currently doing racing anglos, standardbreds & paint racers.
What are you doing?

I tried to breed racing anglo-Arabians to an anglo Arabian x akhal tekke mare that I had but ended up getting really good results, like 02:00 minutes from 02:10 minute mare with a 02:02 sire and couldn't help but mix my 'anglo' line with my thoroughbreds

I had a few really good mares from this, with results that were around 02:01 minutes but with a really good win % (heart gene) and I kept on breeding and freezing the foals, then FameDaLupa put up her good studs and I started breeding my horses again.

So I ended up having around 60 foals that needed training. I unfortunately lost all of my good mares due to the fact that I had no more space to freeze them.

So I started training my foals and got really disappointed. They mostly had parents that were 02:00 minutes and the foals were 02:10 minutes! The same goes for the foals from FameDaLupa's studs! The foals that I literally paid up to a billion and something.

So right now I am still stuck with my few good 02:00 minutes stallions that give me awful foals and I am pretty much stuck with training foals (that I am 100% sure will turn out to be bad racehorses)

Well that's it lol

What about you? You certainly have progressed a lot! (With a world record holder and horses with results of 01:59 minutes!)

Well i got my first record holder, not gonna lie I have no idea how, because all the other foals from his dam were horrible
I have bred my anglos up to racers just waiting for some to be trained. I think I have one trained at the moment
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2333894
I also have bred quite a few to some good racers and mares so im hoping to get some good racers out of those. But I too have about 60 or more foals frozen waiting for a trainer XD

I think in all the Anglo rush my standardbreds didnt quite make it to racers but Im trying to cross breed in paint stats to racers now so I'll see how that goes. I had bred a few mares to a really good promising stud and gotten some pretty bad foals. The mares had thrown some of my good racers so I don't know what happened but the 2 goods must have mixed and made a bad?

I was hoping this guy would race well but I don't have high hopes for him anymore https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2298359

If you ever want to stud any of my stallions feel free to as I have some that throw really good foals and some the foals are not as good.

Weird question but do you ever train a foal for mainly the colour?

My training is slowly getting faster, not by much but it's getting there. I dont know how you do it
I have stamina maxed now and my fastest to 98-99% all stats was 3y 6m (6 turn difference)

Yep, I can definitely relate to this.
That is the result of the dam's and site's hidden good genes showing. It is very difficult for the hidden good genes to show, that is one of the reason as to why some people stick with inbreeding, especially when you breed 2 horses that have no relation

Exactly what happened to me with FameDaLupa's studs, if you remember I told you that I bred the Anglo arabians to a good mare that I had. NOT mares. Everything was going well when breeding the dam's offsprings because of the inbreeding...well not exactly well but a great deal of them were great and a few were awful. So when I bred my mares tithe studs only bad, hidden at that time, genes were passed to the offsprings.

Well once I am finished with Thundering Horses' horses it is your turn! Though I do think that I am going to take your horse's first because Thundering Horses has been inactive for a while

Yep, if is the same with how to average or good horses give an amazing horse due to a good hidden genes, bad genes are showing as well

Thanks for the offer!
I have a really good mare (02:00:31 minutes) that has not given me a better foal but since I have bred her with a few of, what I consider as, bad stud she has given me average horses so there is hope for her at least!

If you also want to stud your horses with mine you are more than welcome to but again I am warning you about the fact that they do not pass down good genes (but maybe it is because of the inbreeding )
Weird question but do you ever train a foal for mainly the colour?

I do not train for colour mainly because I do not breed for colour XD
But training is a great way for making the appearance of a stud with nice colour and/or patterns better and more likely to get used by players.

I am thinking about 'recording' every thing that I do while training to show it to you if you want lol

Haha yes thank you for doing that! I don't really train for colour for stud and to get more out of it. I find cause sometimes I breed for colour that it's a good way to bring through the full colour of the horse. I will try to train a horse today and I'll record the stats so you can see
