To be honest, there probably would be a decent demand for quality pony sized arabs. Arabs are a key ingredient in almost all long pedigreed horse/pony breeds, and so a pony sized arab is likely to be useful in such programs.

Yes I agree, welshies etc have needed pony sized arabs, so not a completely wasted project!
