At about the time they can use the bathroom properly and speak in full sentences is about the time I think they start getting cute... in that good way.

Hah! My niece decided to throw a tantrum one day when I was out with her. I carried her away from her mother kicking and screaming and we waited in the car while my sister finished shopping. She decided not to do that again!
It does often come down to how they're raised. And I feel if your nieces and nephews spent a day with me... they'd not likely want to see me again! And somehow thank me for it when they've matured a bit.

That is the weird thing about it. I often get thanked by those I've watched after a few years have passed. I haven't watched many, but those I did... Anyway, can't exchange family! Send them back, request a replacement! Too funny.

My nephew is 4 years old and throwing tantrums and being really stubborn and the same with my 2 year old niece but my niece is still very cute. I think once they hit the throw tantrums and be stubborn stage is when they start being a bit less cute

Just wanted to say that to avoid confusion it's probably best not to refer to a smoky black foal coat as silver-black. I usually describe as being bluish black versus reddish black.
