So I was reading about the HWO annual rodeo and it said:

"Don't claim rewards meant for other riders."

This got me really confused because I didn't know you had to claim rewards after a competition and all that stuff. If anyone has read my other post about hosting competitions then this links to (I think it was headlined HELP ME!!!!!!!!!)

You automatically get the reward after the comp. As for the rodeo, all you need to do is post a rehomable horse for sale and the host will pay you that reward. Did this help?

Because this game is still very much a work-in-progress, there is a lot that is not automated. The HWO community is allowed to and runs their own competitions and contests (aside from the player-made competitions we can make). When we run these, we offer gifts and winnings, not always, but generally. The only way to get these gifts and winnings to another player is usually by offering the exchange of horses. We can put a horse up for private sale and transfer them that way.
What the statement "Don't claim rewards meant for other riders." means is a request by participants and even none participants to pay attention to the ads in the private sales and indeed on that topic. So that there is less confusion about where the gifts and rewards are supposed to go. There are players with more than one account on this game and care must be taken that the reward goes to the correct player that owns the correct account and not an incorrect player that's poising as the owner of the other account. It's rare, but it does occasionally happen, not just here, but on many games across the internet.
