What Color is He?

I can't tell what color this beauty is. He looks like a Buckskin from his coat, but his mane and tail are this white/grey. Is that the Appy coloring? Also both of his parents are duns, so maybe he inherited that and I just can't tell. He didn't have any of the tell-tale markings when he was younger. And now his mane is hiding his neck so I can't tell. Please help! Thank you!

Yep!

He's indeed a buckskin dun/dunskin.
There are a few signs for that:

1 - see how his nose is less grey-ish than the rest of his face? If you look closely, you will also notice the grey ends in a diagonal line right above his knees. Dun causes this grey-ish cast.
2 - typical dun stripe on his neck
3 - dark dorsal line
