If any club member wants to breed to a full-pattern black leopard Grade, I am offering this boy for stud. He's not currently listed, so let me know if you want to use him and I will arrange a time when we are both on to put him up for you. He won't offer anything good stat-wise but will be great at throwing pattern.

I recently produced this lovely 90%, black-based boy. (He looks chestnut because of intense bronzing.) He has shown a fantastic amount of heart, especially considering that he is nowhere close to perfect in his conformation. If anyone is interested in breeding with him I'm willing to offer him to club members for a $1 stud fee. Just ping or PM me if you would like to use him.

I think I got lucky and bred into an outside line with great heart. I may even try and inject this guy into my Tchenis, as they've been a bit lacking in the heart department recently.

Now's totally fine. :D I've put him up. I'll leave him up until I sign off, or until you're done.

Yes, heart is incredibly hard to find and maintain sometimes. Gotta get it when the getting's still good. In my case, those your horse is beating, I wasn't expecting too much from anyway, the have good stats, but I keep popping bombproofs. That's not too big a deal, I have enough better temps about. But it still is surprising when you have one that is only mediocre on paper then starts delivering the goods when tested. It's like:  :o :? 8-)

I've had a few BP TBs pop up. I think they're from a different outside line that I bred in. :P What surprises me is that he's getting firsts and seconds with what I consider to be rather mediocre scores - he usually scores in the 42-44 range, his best is 42.00. How he's getting firsts with that when my Tchenis struggle when scoring in the low 41s is what gets me. Do the horses with heart just intimidate everybody else into doing worse?
