Choosing a mare
When I chose a mare for my stallions under the mares mini profile there is this COL thing. What is it?

Re: Choosing a mare
COI is kind of like a measure of inbreeding. The higher the COI, the more inbred the horse is. COI in the hundreds is typically described as too high.ST0RM wrote:When I chose a mare for my stallions under the mares mini profile there is this COL thing. What is it?

If you breed a baby to it's mom, the COI of their child will go up. If you do it again, and again, and again, it will go up a lot more. If you breed the horse to another horse not related to them at all, the COI won't go up much at all. COI just measures how inbred the horse is.

If you still don't understand what COI is, take a look over these posts... they describe it a number of different ways. If you're still unsure, then what exactly don't you understand? We'll try to walk you through it more slowly and step-by-step.ST0RM wrote:Sorry I don't under stand.
