I'm a newbie and thus completely ignorant. But I didn't miss the fact that there are some 2-year-old horses that are fully trained. I don't manage to fully train my horses until they are 18. How is that?

I'm a newbie and thus completely ignorant. But I didn't miss the fact that there are some 2-year-old horses that are fully trained. I don't manage to fully train my horses until they are 18. How is that?

It takes finishing the player skills and also using the correct technique.
If you use the technique now, you can expect to finish training a horse by between 7 and 9 years.
Halfway through your player skills, you will finish training a horse in about 4 years.
Fully finished with the player skills and you'll get done your horse training in under 3 years (about 2 years 6 months is the average).
