Here is his confo
Speed 62
Strength 27
Stamina 31
Intelligence Conformation does not affect Intelligence
Balance 25
Movement 22
Agility 29
Tempo 36

My personal opinion on wether you should train him or not is:

It is definitely up to you.

I personally would not get him trained. I usually train horse that I am expecting to get good results from and your foal looks to be an ordinary (with a good confo and HGP) Racing TB.

If you take a look his pedigree you will see that he comes partially from D.M Boardings' lines.
Do not get me wrong, D.M Boarding has amazing racing lines but unfortunately the mare that you own (that was bred by D.M Boarding) does not seem to throw good foals.
Your foal's parents are half-siblings and carry the speed genes that Black Ice has passed on, unfortunately that horse does not have good speed genes (based on his results and the offsprings that he has sired)

Don't lose hope though, in this game genes (hidden genes actually) tend to jump generations and with the right breeding they suddenly show up (that is the Superior bloodlines that a horse can show that it has them). After a few generations with not getting good offsprings competition wise I usually rehome the horse because I know that the good genes of my previous generations have not been passed to their offsprings but bad hidden genes have started to show instead.

Hey! Could you do some confos for me? I need to rehome for room, so my SHD's need to be checked. BTW, how are your drafts going? :) I think I'm going to mix my SHD to high strength Belgians for more strength.

I am working on many projects right now  my Belgian project is on hold for now!
I have gotten 2 good Marathon driving Belgians (one of them us close to breaking a world record, like 0.2 feet away) and I got a 70 Strength Belgian!!! With a gold Strength comment, I can let you stud him when he is old enough. Do you wanna get his link?
