Re: Premium? Worth it?
There are a few perks to it...I don't have it and I'm doing fine without it!! But I've also been playing is since it first came out for open beta testing! I bought player bonuses so I could regenerate days faster. But do NOT have premium account...
Premium account lets you view the confirmation stats of your horse and basically tells you if it has a good build or not, I can normally tell if it'll be good or not when the horse is at 4 years or so. Luckily you can pay month by month though.

Re: Premium? Worth it?
I got premium for super quick day regen and extra day storage. Some days I like to play slow (or not at all!) and some days I like to play REALLY fast, and having 24 days stored up that regenerate very quickly is a very nice perk to have.
Private messaging is nice too.

This is the first online game I have spent money on
I really enjoy the quick regen and the 12 banked days instead of 6. Since I'm primarily breeding, the conformation tab is also vital to me.
That, and I also like the yellow name you get

But when that is said, if you're short on rl money, or not sure you'll be playing frequently, you can go by fine without an upgraded account. Also, if you play a lot on a non-upgraded account, you might earn enough pony tokens to buy yourself a month of premium - without spending real money. I did that the first few months of my time as a premium member, but that ended up being too stressful. It was a nice way to learn what premium offers, though.

I run 10 competitions and with Premium, I can set them to run daily automatically. If I didn't have Premium, I would have to restart them every day, loosing time and money earned.

Hi Lex!
Like all the others, I think it's worth it. I especially like the fast day regeneration and the horse conformation tab.
But don't trust us!
I recommend saving up 500 PT before you spend real money. As you've just started you will level up relatively fast which means you should have saved up enough PT in a short while. Then give premium a try, see if it's worth it for you. :)
