Perlino Champagne with Tiger Eye?
Tygrus Shark's Daydream

These dilute combinations still just eat my lunch. Could Tiger Eye really change the eye color darker? I haven't been paying much attention to eye color in my line.

Re: Perlino Champagne with Tiger Eye?
So... The Mam is Palomino Champagne (1 cream gene and chapagne from the Dam and no cream from the sire), The sire is grey and has retired so we can't get to his profile, but could have had a creame gene passed on from his dam (we know he's not double cream becasue his muzzle is black). So, most likely Perlino or brown cream Chapagne as the black based coat colours are dominant over chestnut, and the darkening is definately from Tiger's eye as the eye has darkened over time and is green-brown when zoomed in. Hope that helps a bit.

Re: Perlino Champagne with Tiger Eye?
I know nothing about Tiger Eye in real life, but in HWO I've only seen it lighten horses' eyes, so I vote no on Tiger Eye.
So this girl has freckles which points us to Champagne.
Her dam is Cremello Champagne and the sire is unfortunately deceased and was grey, so no help from his side:

We know your mare must've gotten at least one Cream and Champagne. She also seems to be uniformly coloured and kind of red-ish in colour, so I'm guessing something chestnut based, but she seems far too light for Gold Cream. Maybe there could be some Dun going on?
This is very hard :/
Maybe someone else could help?

Re: Perlino Champagne with Tiger Eye?
I find this very hard too!
My original thought was something along Silver Classic Cream Champagne, but she just seems so light!
We know she's champagne because of the muzzle
Silver is a could have come from the sire
Only one cream gene (dark eyes)
Maybe she's expresses very heavy pangaré making her even lighter?

Re: Perlino Champagne with Tiger Eye?
Do you think Apricot + Champagne could be a possibility?
Apricot could explain the dark eyes and Champagne the freckles.
But this is only possible if she had double pearl, so her dam would have to actually be a Palomino Pearl Champagne... which she might be, looking at her.

Re: Perlino Champagne with Tiger Eye?
It certainly would make sense with the dark eyes and all!nyraeia wrote:Do you think Apricot + Champagne could be a possibility?
