Stumped on which combo of Dilutes he is?
I'm a little stumped on this guy's color.
Is it Silver Dapple Classic Champagne (like his sire), or a Silver Dapple Smoky Brown (closer to his dam's color), or am I just way off with him.
.:RS:. Malibu Sea Breeze

He is also my first foal on my new Spanish Jennet Bloodline (I am breeding for new solid colors right now) and while his stats aren't totally awesome, I really love his color! So happy with him.

- Shout out to you, my friend, so you can see the start of my new colorful SJ line! Thank you for all your help.sawd10 wrote:...

Re: Stumped on which combo of Dilutes he is?
His color is difficult to discern from the foal picture alone, but it's easier to see now that he's a bit older. If you look at his muzzle, flank, and behind his elbow there is a distinctive bronze discoloration. This indicates that he is brown-based rather than black-based. His emerging dorsal stripe indicates dun. His blue eyes and pink skin indicate double cream, while his mane and tail combined with the extra lightening of "black" areas indicates silver.LadyRuthven wrote:I'm a little stumped on this guy's color.

So he is Silver Brown Cream Dun.
