Player Run Competitions
So, since I'm curious, how many of you guys actually make your owns shows? How many people enter competitions? What levels do you end up needing most? Are there plenty of shows available? Too many? Too few? Add anything else you might like to share too!

Re: Player Run Competitions
I enter 60 horses in competitions. I will be adding my 9th competition this week, that I put on. I currently have a mix of level 1 and level 2 competitions, but will moving to all level 2 competitions soon.
I find it hard to find enough mid range competitions in disciplines that restrict to only one horse per farm.

Which disciplines are those? I'm not familiar with the entry restrictions yet.GlacierLake wrote:I enter 60 horses in competitions. I will be adding my 9th competition this week, that I put on. Re: Player Run Competitions
I run a couple/day...I need to train more so I can add higher levels....the highest level I can run is level 3. lol

Re: Player Run Competitions
I run 7 saddleseat shows a day.. levels 1-7. I only have one horse in active competition and I compete him in everything except western events at the moment. Not enough higher level shows in any discipline. Not enough harness racing or steeplechasing shows, not enough saddleseat shows.

these disciplines restrict to one horse entry per farm.

Re: Player Run Competitions
Welcome Dayaine. I've been on HWO for a few months now, and still have plenty to learn. I have several horses that I train and enter competitions with. I'm currently running 5 daily events on this account, levels 4 and 5 (Working Ranch, Dressage, Endurance, Hunter, and Steeplechasing). Sometimes there are enough entrants to run them (requires 5 entries), sometimes not. There are times when I'll add an extra horse or two, when possible, to an event (even though it may not be their strong event) so it will run.

Re: Player Run Competitions
I run 10 restricted (usually age restricted) shows every day on this barn in both Hunter and Dressage up to level 10. I run a further show just as and when I want one with a higher payout. On my side account I run a few more whenever I can remember to create them as that account isn't upgraded (yet lol)
