Muscular horses??

Post by DestinoRidge »

So I was browsing through the rankings and noticed the half friesian stallion hades and was curious as to how he is so muscular? Is it genetic or a product of training? A few of mine have some nice definition but none as noticeable as that?? :D

Horses will have better muscular definition if they are trained alot and horses with the Metallic gene will seem to shine more.
Both horse examples have alot of training. If the horse has a shine on it's head from forehead to nose, it has Metallic gene.

Non-metallic
❃BriskSky

Metallic
❃Corina

yes training will really make a horse muscular!! that is the cool thing about this game!! this game will at some point be down to the T!! lol and also feeding has an affect on horses looking under weight or over weight! Sooo if your horse is underweight and not trained, your horses will almost look bony! At some point I think if your horse is underweight for to long then it should probably die. If you put the horse in the barn and don't feed it, then it should probably die. My horses never go down past Moderately thin.

Thanks guys! And yes, trying to manage my horses weight currently. Cut down the grass to basically nothing and started feeding myself but 2 of my pony's are just little chunks. Can't get them slimmed haha.

And that's odd, the non metallic horse looks more metallic than the actual metallic one.

Nope, the first one isn't. Metallics have shiny faces. BriskSky is just muscular.
Here's a comparison of BriskSky (no halter) and a horse that's both muscular and shiny (halter):

The first one is a bay dun.
