Re: Need 1 confo done so I can continue
I agree. I t sometimes takes me a couple days to revamp and such. And this time I am going to renovate and make a little bit of a smaller farm because I don't have so much projects anymore. If you take a look, almost all horses are out of place and I don't even breed bashkirs or belgians anymore.BlackOak2 wrote:New upgrade, new start.Sawd10 wrote: Same here.
Yeah, I really would like 6 month, but it all depends.![]()
I need to sort my farm soon and I dread the day. It really isn't that bad. Sometimes relaxing. But I have SO MUCH! Including renovating, selling/rehoming, moving, decorating and who knows what else?!?! I feel like I should do it when premium so I can just put a bunch of horses up for $1 and it will be over with quickly.
As your sorting and renovating, those horses can stay unaged for a little longer too. I know when I go through a farm-revamp, it can take me two days before I actually start using turns again (usually it's only a handful of hours if I get through it in one go). Depends on how large the revamp is.

Oh, by the way, what projects do you have? Honestly, I see you with quite a couple things, but I never knew what project/s you have?

Oh, by the way, what projects do you have? Honestly, I see you with quite a couple things, but I never knew what project/s you have?
-->Leopard Tarpans
-->Heavy Arabians (Constellations Arabians), primary bloodline and secondary infusion bloodline
-->Secondary Infusion line of the low HGP (primary line is active, the secondary is emergency and with some genes I don't want to loose.)
-->quest horses that aren't open yet
-->competition bloodline as I use certain ones to grind and to continue the improvements, alongside this, the development of this line into Roman Chariot project
-->some random side project horses that I'm saving for future use.
-->Three racing thoroughbreds because they caught my eye.
Those currently on total hold that I want to return to some day, but may not have any actively frozen or on hold horses.
-->Dauntless Project - this is the low feed requirement, high feed intake project that I hit a snag with... possibly the one that may prove or find the feeding issue we have. I don't know. I need to start this project from scratch and have a couple horses that might work for it, but I need to really start from scratch, as in AC lines.
Projects currently running:
-->Quests - 50 left to go
-->low HGP
-->slow breeding the competition line, I need more mares, I have almost nothing but stallions.
-->Rare popping for the Rare Sales forum alongside the Quests

I like the whole low HGP thing and if they are ever open to the public I may buy one AFTER I RENOVATE XD.
I am working on TBS, some random projects such as Coffin Bays Ponies. I want to breed a record breaker. I also have a couple Hackney Ponies I am doing some breeding with, as well.
This is my HIGHEST TB speed I have bred: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2256146
What kind of breed do you need mares in? I may be able to help.
Oh, I am also working on breeding really good Jumpers (Show Jumping in particular).
I also am doing some driving horse work, as well.

Re: Need 1 confo done so I can continue
It's my competition line I need mares in. But I'm really picky. They need to have a strong heart and a full competition record that proves it. Usually if I run of or acceptable mares or stud entirely, I'll purchase an unknown from the market, train and fully comp it. If they don't have what I want, a lot of the newbie grinders are those. If you have one that might fit that bill, I'd be interested in looking. No particular breed, although I'm starting to stay away from arabian and belgian and thoroughbred and also quarter horse. I have a lot of arab and belgian blood already in that line, so there's a lot of high COI floating around, much higher than I like. Thoroughbreds are fine, but their scores for racing are going in a direction that won't benefit the outcome of my future project. The quarters, though they have what would benefit the future of this project, the ones I've found don't mix well with my line or don't have what I want to see in them. Of the other breeds... it's still a mixed breed line and I won't be making them into a purebred until they're much further along toward the Roman Chariot project I want. Which means any breed really will work, as long as they have what I need. But it's a slow-moving project and I'm in no rush or need to fulfill the missing mares.Sawd10 wrote: Those are some cool projects,.

The low HGP's will be available to fulfill the quest of:
But I won't be selling any of these horses to anybody that hasn't already been working toward the goal. So purchasers will have to prove this by showing a horse in the low teens and have that bloodline show that it's been owned by the same account for more than one or two generations. So far, it's taken me three years to get to this point. And I'm not the only one that's still working on it.Breed a 10,000 HGP Foal
Breed a foal with a crummy foal with a maximum of 10,000 HGP
But once the quest is fulfilled, nobody will have use for breeding to a low GP horse. I'm just one of those that needs to get what I can finished... Which is likely the same reason that I started tackling the recipe quest to get them done...
Record breakers come from record breakers... but they also come from the blue... and they also come from very selective and delicate breeding, producing a very well designed horse in both genetics and conformation and also keeping a close eye on the heart gene. Between all of them, it could well be the heart gene that means the difference between a record and not (of course strong genes and well-proportioned conformation are also strongly important). I'd suggest if you just want ANY record breaking horse, choose a record in a competition that hasn't been broken in a long time (there are some over 2 years old), then design your bloodline toward that end. Show Jumping might be a good target, since you already have that project. Some of those levels haven't been broken since 2017.
Congrats on breeding Crazy Arrogance, he's a good looker and appears to have a decent heart. You're taking him up slowly through the levels, so at the higher levels, you may find his heart falters a bit... but there is also a LOT of competition and strong competition, so he's nothing to laugh at either.

What's with the 'heart falter' and stuff? I never heard of that on here?
Found this on the market, though probs not what you want:

Re: Need 1 confo done so I can continue
heart falter, just means that the competition heart of your horse may not be strong enough to overcome the competition. They (the infamous 'They') refer to it as a faltering heart. But it can also mean a horse that get's their competition heart broken by another horse. Specifically in racing, two horses, one with more heart but less talent keeps winning races regularly, comes up against a horse with more talent (regardless of heart). They're smart enough animals sometimes to know when they're beaten. Sometimes, when a horse with strong heart but perhaps less talent, sees a horse that is their better by a wide degree, they loose the desire to race thereafter. Sometimes it's referred to as faltering heart or breaking the heart.Sawd10 wrote: I honestly don't think I have much that fits what you said.
Thank you!Yeah, it took a while to breed him.

Since we 'may or may not have' the competition heart here on HWO, the use of the faltering heart (and not the broken heart) against stronger competition can be offered as a term describing a horse that just can no longer beat competition that is just too strong to overcome.
Thank you for cruising the market in search... but this horse's confo scores are in the opposite direction of what I want with that level of HGP. Plus the no color in the report... he might prove a really decent grinder, but won't work for my bloodline.
