Blue eyes???

Okay anyone seen this eye color before? Will they turn green? His daddy had green eyes.

This guy is homozygous for Tiger Eye.
It does vary a bit depending on coat color but is mostly greenish.
Tiger Eye is only visible on Champagne coats or if your horse has two copies of it (is homozygous).
This means that every foal that he sires will either:
- have visible Tiger Eye if it has also inheritet Champagne from the dam
- be a "carrier" for Tiger Eye if it is not Champagne
- show Tiger Eye on a non-champagne coat if it also inherits a copy of Tiger Eye from the dam (so we know your colt's dam must be a Tiger Eye carrier)

My first horse (real) was blue eyed so I had a soft spot for this.

They are blue-ish green :)

So you can see there's quite a difference!
