helppppp

Post by meganrose55 »

hello all!

im trying to broaden my horizons breed wise! im currently working on marwari and kathiawaris but im wanting to focus on another breed and ive no idea which or where to start? i dont want to do one too common like arabians and TBs but i do like my more thinner breeds so like ruling out friesians and andalusians as beautiful as they are!

any ideas would be much appreciated! :D

Consider what you're competing in and what you might want to compete in. Is there a breed that you think might be 'neat' to see it compete there? Or perhaps making a breed into something it Most Definitely is not (like racing belgians).

To pick one at random, the Tawleed sounds like an interesting horse. 5 star would put you on the taller spectrum, and the light to medium-light area. It's really rare right now, in-game (5 known specimens). But shouldn't be too difficult to make (Tb crossed to sudan country-bred).

It is! I totally agree.

If you do have a lot of difficulty trying to narrow... run through some recipe quests and see if you're attracted to one that you might produce. This seems to help a lot of us (myself included) to narrow down or to suddenly like an entirely unknown (at least personally) breed of horse. By doing this, I found that I like such breeds as the Furioso (Furi? oso?... such an interesting name!), the Kerry Bog (was it developed as a bog horse?), the Warlander (War! hahaha... as in the 'land of war'? stupid joke  ), the Vlaamperd (Yup, vampires), Vladimir Heavy Draft (again, vampires)... and of course a number of others. By just cruising the breeds wiki, such things can be lost on us. But by breeding into or through these recipe quest breeds, they come a little more to light for us. It draws both our eyes and our attentions.
