Raising awareness. Please read
Hello everyone
As you all may know there are devastating fires ripping through Australia at the moment. The 2019–20 Australian bush fire season is an ongoing bush fire event in Australia that has burned an estimated 5.9 million hectares (15 million acres), destroyed over 2,500 buildings (including over 1,300 houses) and killed at least 19 people with a further 28 missing in the state of Victoria alone. Just yesterday they found the third generation of a family dead the grandmother, father and son all died within a day of each other. two from the fires and one from smoke polution.
This calls for drastic measures. Especially when our sun here in NZ is thick black clouds and when we do see the sun it is red not yellow. But its not only the fires that are whats devastating. Parts of Australia have been in drought for up to 7 years. This means they have nothing to depend on and the towns surrounding them cant support them either. Wow... I am so sorry! I wish I could donate, but I can't. So instead, I'll absolutely be raising awareness, and maybe I'll reach someone else who can donate. I wish you and the rest of the volunteers/workers the best and I'll be praying for you!Arabmania wrote:Hello everyone
