Pet Peeve

Post by hdmcminn »

Nothing grieves me more than when someone buys a beautiful, well-trained horse, which I usually sell for reasonable prices so that people can acquire show horses of their own, and they rehome it within a couple hours of purchase. Why?

They probably bought it as a breeding prospect and it didn't suit for some reason? I don't know!

I always breed them at least once before selling prospects just so that can't happen.

That can be irritating.

But, I would definitely breed the horse and get a few foals from them before you sell if it really bothers you -- 1) to keep that line in your stable and 2) so anyone who buys them can't just rehome them.
