A Dream To Remember Equestrian Center - Hackney Ponies

Post by In Training »

I am working towards the Hackney pony. I have created a thread in the breeding communities, so if you are breeding any of the following horses, please feel free to show your best stud or best horse that is for sale. My program needs the help. :D Thanks in advance.:

Arabian
Norfolk trotter
Thoroughbred
Cleveland Bay
Exmoor Pony
Forest Horse
Andalusian
Friesian
Carthusian
Akhal Teke
Galloway
Fell Pony
Hakney horse
West African Barb
North African Barb

All of these breeds have contributed to the Hackney pony. I'm currently working on getting my exmoor line started. If you have any unwanted horses that you think might be useful. Will be updating my progress on this thread >_< Might forget at times, so might need a poke every now and then.

Please consider the stallion Just What I Wanted (#129750). Although bred to be a Hackney, he didn't quite come within the breed specs, so is described as "Half Norfolk Trotter". He has so far achieved 10 championships, including Harness Racing, Driven Dressage, Endurance, and Saddleseat.

It has been awhile. So I would like to say that I have multiple Hackney horses now along with two Hackney pony mares. :) Check out my page to see the progress!
