ISO Mongolian Stallion

Post by Southerngal »

I'm trying to breed a Kirgiz, and I've found plenty of Turkemenes- no garuntees I'll have found a mare before someone offers a stallion. If anyone has a Mongolian stallion that scored a 4 or 5 on a Kirgiz eval, would you mind if I bred to them?

No idea how he scores on the book (don't have the book), but this one is a proven Kirgiz producer:

He is up for stud all the time (and I've forgotten what his fee was, but wasn't big, I think).

Thanks! I can try him, he scores a N/A, but he's bred them, so... We'll try!

I've experienced that sometimes it's even easier to create a breed with parents that score N/A - you just need to find a pair that balance each other out and keep your fingers crossed that the foal will be an average of both :)
