A few sale adds titled with 'Transfer'
I was wondering for a while now why some sale adds have in their title the word transfer, even though the horse was put up for 'sale' a few days ago.
I thought that some of the horses that are up, not for sale but, for transfer were up for a while now because the owner's side account did not have enough space for the horse.
However, I have noticed that that is not the case considering that some horses are up for transfer for weeks now.
If it were me and I realized that my side account did not have the space for the horse, then the horse would have its sale add immediately deleted.
Plus, even if the owner forgot to delete the add then why do they still, after weeks , have no space for the horse?
I have checked and seen that many of the owners have been back online after the horse has been put up for offer and which means that they have noticed that their horse is up for offer (either because they saw it or because they got an offer)
So do the owners of the horses that are up for transfer, just put them up for sale just to see what they would be sold for? Or because they are not sure if they want to sell the horse? Is it ok if I bid on a horse that is up for transfer for weeks now?
I would really appreciate if someone could help me understand what is going on

I am with you on that confusion.Veterinarian wrote:...
If it's been up for awhile, and you're interested, I see nothing wrong with placing a bid. There could be reasons why they haven't been pulled. It could be that they forgot it was up. It could also be that they lost track of the horse. Or it could certainly be that they're curious about if somebody might want a horse like that.
....
They could also be advertising their bloodlines.
Which in my opinion, is a rather backwards way of doing so. But if it works, so be it.

I think I might be one of the culpritsVeterinarian wrote:I was wondering for a while now why some sale adds have in their title the word transfer, even though the horse was put up for 'sale' a few days ago.

In my case, I leave my sale ads up while I complete horse ownership courses so I don't forget them. I'm not sure about others, though. I was wondering the same thing you were because I've seen some horses up for transfer that have been up for weeks, but their owner has been on since then

For me: It could be that I forgot it was up. It could also be that I lost track of the horse.BlackOak2 wrote:I am with you on that confusion.Veterinarian wrote:...
