Side Menu Bar

I would like to put a suggestion forward that when you open a new tab or window the side menu bar remains hidden. (I would actually like to see it hidden all the time and only appear when I hover my cursor over the bar or click on the "collapse menu" box at the top but I don't want to appear too demanding lol) If other people like to have the menu visible all the time it would be good to have the option to choose in our settings :)

I prefer it hidden as well.

I prefer it visible, but I'm all for a choice in the settings. :)
