This girl is so awesome. If you get another Arab with a green in tempo, I'd be happy to take him/her off your hands :P
Unfortunately I'm not breeding Arabs, I'm sorry. I'm hanging onto her to use for crossbreeds in various projects. So she's getting bred to a whole lot of other breeds, but not to Arabs. But I put a note in her profile reminding me to contact you if I ever do, just in case. :)

Yeah
nyraeia wrote:You mentioned intelligence being a freebie for later on - can you expand a bit on what you mean by that? Will intelligence influence competition stats even if it's not in the discipline summary? I thought you were going for dressage horses (mov/temp/bal/str).
There will eventually be skill training in addition to conditioning (the current training system), and dressage requires a lot of skills, which requires a lot of intelligence.
nyraeia wrote:I suspect that's a game-wide thing. At least, I've experienced (or imagined to experience) that it's easier to produce greens in colts than in fillies.
Yes, colts are hardcoded to have better breeders' reports.

Glad I'm not the only one having colt-o-rama!

Wow, you guys and your crazy green stats! :o You are on a whole other level breeding than I am. It's awesome to rubber-neck your guys' fantastic horses!! :D

My guys do okay sort of mid level top competitions- like I can win a level 10 competition if the competition isn't fierce, but I know against say Virgo or Argent's horses I wont win.

And that's fine with me! I'm having super fun with the game and I love rooting for a horse that's kicking * in competitions no matter who owns him.

I grew up with horses and oxen, pulling logs, and also worked at a stable that took in SPCA/cruelty seizures. My Dad's side of the family raised standardbred trot racers. My sis was a really fantastic rider in dressage and she loved standies, but as much as I love horses I 100% admit I wasI never was a good rider or competitor. I did some basic blacksmith/farrier stuff too before I became sick.
If there was a mucking stalls/brushing tangles out of tails/making shoe nails component to the game I would be top ten right there.

I lied again. I busted my Arab mare with three greens out and decided to work on her a little. She just had a colt with three greens, tempo included. I'll put him up for public stud when he grows up in case he can be of use to anyone.
