Lost on how to create a new breed

So, I'm trying to create a MFT. Do the parents have to have all four stars? The MFT requires pony type parents, but American Saddlebreds and Spanish bardxmorgans are both horse types.

I was just looking at Missouri Fox Trotters yesterday after I finished American Saddlebreds for my TWH project and noticed this problem. The type required really is off from all three parent breeds. I wonder if it's a typo. I don't know anything about MFT but are they really 50-70% pony type instead of horse type?

To answer your question, no, the parents don't need to be four stars - they just need to be able to breed a foal that is. So you can have one parent that's too high in something and one parent that's too low in something, and hope the foal meets in the middle.

Anyway. If I can help at all by tossing American Saddlebreds and Morgans your way, just let me know. I have extra Saddlebreds and I could breed you some Morgans pretty easily. (Edit: Oh, I just noticed you bought some of mine earlier. Nevermind that then.)

I bred an andulsian to my Morgan x Spanish Barb, because the andulsian had three stars, so hopefully that mixed foal with help with the pony type problem.

I just put one Morgan mare up for sale. I can't play right now, I'm in the middle of a few things, but I'll breed more to sell when I get the chance to later.
