What are your main projects?

Post by *T2*Reserves »

I recently just got back into the game and I need some inspiration to see what I want to do. I've noticed that there are a lot of new things going on since I left, new people, projects, and even some horses I never noticed. I was thinking of getting back into my log pulling horses but there doesn't seem to be as many for sale/stud. Just wondering whats been going on since I left, Thanks all :)

Welcome back!

At risk of hijacking another post... we had another recent returnee that's answered your general question, check it out here:

Okay, you can call me lazy for linking you to that topic... :D

To answer about log pulling... I see quite a few high-pot competitions and the competitors in them, are quite tough. But as far as standing studs and breeding stock sales from established competitive lines, they do appear to be mostly privatized. I'm not sure whether that's because it's from less interest or from preference or from something else though.

But our HWO highest strength score right now is 72 (unless something changed)... so that might surprise you a bit.

For inspiration, if you choose to get away from logs, start on the quests... that generally helps.

We're also lacking a little in the public training area. And there has been a general drive toward building interest in other competitions. The racing disciplines have been taken over (kind-of heavily), by thoroughbreds, but many of the other disciplines are a bit lacking.

Black oaks reply was pretty great.
Personally, I’m working on
realistic, Dressage Gypsy Vanners
Realistic Shires
And I was working on Thoroughbreds but I think I’m going to drop them and work on Appaloosas and/or knabstruppers instead.

I do public training and mainly bred for competition and realism. I also sell quite a bit of horses when I have some to sell. I’ve seen a lot of players taking interest in breeding sooty horses. Log pull competitions it seems are very slowly building a base on which I’m sure you and others could build upon.

Oops, I didn't even notice that topic .
As for the strength, I did breed a mare a while back with 71 one strength (still have her) so I did expect some changes to that. I have done public training in the past for a person but I believe they left(that is my side account actually). I don't think I would have seen the racing come up though, before loggers I actually did do some racing and still have a few of them but not any thoroughbreds. But thanks for the help! I'm definitely going to go on over and read that one, maybe even post and see if anyone is willing to work on loggers with me, but thanks a bunch :)

Shires were actually one of the first things I wanted to work on when I started this game but I ended up with Belgains.
I believe bi do have a Shire on my reserve account (I forgot I was in that one when I posted this :?) Not sure if he's any help to you depending on what your looking for, but thought I would offer anyway. Thanks again :)
