I think I may have figured out why your BBCodes aren't working for you, like when you use the quote code and it doesn't run the code for you.

Go into the full editor and see if in the options section (that's generally below the text box) and see if the 'Disable BBCode' box is clicked.
It should be blank. That could be the issue. Please, let us know.
