How do you get into a topic that is not someone else's because that would mean making your own topic.

Follow the directions... Hopefully a step-by-step will enlighten you a little easier.

Look at the side menu list, it reads:

Settings
Logout

Click on: Community

Right click on: Forum
And choose 'Open link in a new tab'

This is the General Chit Chat forum for HWO.
Here anything not related or related to HWO that does NOT fit into any of the other forums, can be posted and discussed.

At the very top of the forum, you will see the title of the forum. It reads: General Chit Chat.
Just below this is a button for making your own topic. It reads: New Topic*

When NOT posting a reply to somebody else's topic, you should start your own topic by using that New Topic button, found in the same place in every forum here on HWO.
If replying to somebody else about the topic they have authored, then you can use their topic.

So you have two ways to post. One is to discuss a topic already posted. Try not to get off topic in posting. The other is to author or open a new topic. If you author or open a new topic and it's YOUR topic, then you can use that topic however you want.

If you're NOT playing on a computer, I'm not sure how to lead you. Like if you're playing on a phone or tablet... I'm no familiar with playing the game on those devices, so you'll need to seek directions from somebody that does play on those devices.

Once posted, your topic will appear in the forum you posted it in. As other replies and other new topics get published, your topic will slide down the list.

I recommend bookmarking your topic. You can bookmark it manually in your browser, or you can also bookmark it by using the message tools drop-down menu. It's the little button that looks like a wrench.

You can also access all of the posts you've written, by clicking on your name in a topic, then clicking on the 'search user's posts, found on the right-hand side of the screen.

I am no longer seeing your topic. I can't find it anywhere. It's possible the link got broken or maybe... could you have accidentally deleted it?

So I don't know what happened to it and can not help you get back there.

You'll have to create a new topic then. Bookmark it this time, save the link somewhere.
