8arbarossa, please try to refrain from being quite so aggressive, it's not needed on this game and your harshness grinds on the enjoyment of some of the other players (I am speaking only for myself, but I'm sure I'm not the only one). By rewording your request to PeacefulOreo, you would not have poured gasoline on the fire... If you choose to cancel the contract, that is your choice and right. Next time, if you choose to help another player in need, consider a time constraint. That will cure a future problem like this before it starts.

PeacefulOreo, you have the right do defend yourself, but also know that you don't need to. Keep in mind that some people choose to be pot-stirrers and enjoy causing drama. Remember that in order to argue, people need somebody to argue against.
