XD! Yeah. Thanks! Hopefully you and BlackOak don't get the worst of it, either!
I'm not actually in florida. Inland, mid-atlantic stats, not southern atlantic states :D

But the zip tie to the mane is a good idea. It may not stay on, but if it does, and she turns up missing, at least there's a better chance of returning.

Yeep prepping for a natural disaster with animals in your care has got to be a nightmare. I remember reading a lot of stuff from horse owners after Hurricane Andrew who had painted their phone number on the horse and left them to their own devices during the storm. ID is paramount.

Here's a good resource page on storm prep: https://horsefund.org/disaster-prepared ... horses.php

Best of luck to everyone in the storm's path!

I thought it would be a good idea to do that so other players trying to get a hold of us might look here to find out if we are just ignoring them or just offline.

I have some family down in Florida but I live more up north and more inland so if I get anything at all from the hurricane, it would be just the rain.

Well, I've made it through just fine. I'm only a little bit inland and we got 15 mph winds at the highest. It's not even as bad as a normal thunderstorm. Praying for the Bahamas, though.

Stay safe, everyone! I'm in NC and that thing is supposed to be on top of us by Thursday. I hope it's just rain and storms, nothing major. :S
