Horses have overgrown hooves?

Post by robynreddress »

Hello.

My horse hooves have become awful, but I can't figure out how to fix it. I can't find any links for a farrier.

Also, they have gotten extremely fat, I couldn't find the "feed" settings either.

Horses hooves look like that on this game (unless you're seeing something different then what we are). There are no farriers. (I don't know about future plans)
Feed settings is under the owner options tab when you're looking at the horse (it's on the right side), but the reason your horses are too fat is because you can't control how much grazing they're doing in the pasture. If you want to control all of their food, then purchase a barn.

Seina's Extensive User Guide (under the help menu and in the help guides) is always helpful (I often refer back to it) here's an excerpt for feeding:

"Feeding helps you to keep weight and energy of your horses which will be especially helpful while showing them. Horses in barns have to be fed to not stay in poor condition. Horses in pastures are able to feed themselves and depending on pasture quality they can be less or more fat.
You have to adjust feeding for each horse by going to their profile, clicking on "Feeding" and selecting/combining feeding options. After few turns or when you are happy with your horses weight you can click on "Set to suggested kg".

Keep in mind that feeding several horses per turn can end up being quite costy and you will struggle in making profit off them.

At the moment there is no reason for you to feed your horses unless you are showing them or training them in barns (energy)! It does not affect their health and they will not die!"
