my case was as much my fault as it was theirs, in one sense... I was transferring a horse from one account to another, marked private sale, but not for offers, and they purchased in the 2 minutes it took me to switch accounts...

there is no rule against doing such, but I did ask them to return, and offered them double the price they payed for the horse. Its here on the forum somewhere... but it must be noted again, that what they did isnt against the rules - although i marked the horse private sale, it was up in the public market.. just would have thought some players had more common decency then that!

I noticed the same horse up for sale a couple of days ago, and again offered an additional 20K to the previous time that i offered, but it was turned down..

amended: it must be noted that a.) i was told they would return the horse. and b.) im over it - i cant be bothered arguing over that player, or any similar players... or similar circumstances. its a pity though, that there is so much childish drama in the forum at the moment.

No, it’s not in the rules that you can’t buy a horse up for sale but there is a thing called graciousness and understanding. I feel like if somebody gives a horse back or not kind of shows their true colors in a sense. I’m just saying, you’re more likely to get along with people if you don’t try to buy people’s horses that aren’t up for offers (or even are for offers). Even if it’s truly the other persons fault, it never hurts to be a little nice here and there and give their horse back...

I can’t stop anybody from doing it, but that’s just my opinion on the matter (although I do believe everyone should only put horses up for offers while transferring and such)

I know that I should not be involved in this but I just wanted to point out that what Jasmine_Hanley said was very important in this situation ( again my opinion! ).

I also wanted to point out that ,again in my opinion, I believe that Sarah32306 did not threaten you Arabian Project.

Because Sarah32306 stated that they have asked politely in Gmail and here and I believe that they went all the way to try and communicate with you publicly , since they respected your privacy and communicated with you through gmail firstly, because you did not reply to them.

And since you did not say anything about not getting an email I guess that you just want to keep the horse.

Again Arabian Project I am asking you politely to give the horse back. I understand that I have no right to interfere here but this has happened to me also and I just could not let this go since Sarah32306 had the courage to contact you and ask you politely to give the horse back ,which I did not .

You have every right to say no Arabian Project! You bought the horse and now it belongs to you, I understand that!

What I do not understand is why you want to keep the horse. Sarah32306 has not only offered to give you the money you paid for the horse back but she has offered to breed you a horse like the one you bought.

So if your decision of not giving the horse back( which is proven by you not replying to Sarah32306 gmail, declining their offer to buy the horse again when it was up for sale and now) is not because you will lose the money you paid for him,not because she asked rudely (she politely asked you again now by using the word please) and not because you will not get to have a horse as good as the one you bought ....then why are you doing this?

About three people have politely asked you to give the horse back and two told you that this has happened to them before .

Arabian Project I am not trying to threaten you by any means. I am just trying to understand you and you reasoning.

Do you want more money than what you offered because I will see what I can do to help Sarah32306 with that or I can train you some of my Arabians (with 6 golds) and give them back to you for free just so you can give the horse back to Sarah32306!

So... Veterinarian you are just going to give extra money or some good trained Arabians to Arabian Project? Why would you do that? apart from helping Sarah32306 get back their horse.

From what I see here Arabian Project, in my opinion, does not deserve the extra money or the extra trained horses if they are just going to take them without at least saying a thank you.

I should not even talk about how I believe that they are just taking advantage of you.

So why would you do all of that to a person that does not care for the community, because if they cared to make this community better they would of just given the horse back for the exact price that they got the horse

AND NOT do all of that and not only get the money that they paid for the horse back but extra money or trained Arabians with a really good breeder's report?!

That is just greedy and it just shows such negativity that a person can do all of those things, cause such a drama and get away with extra money?

This just shows how a person does jot want to help other people and in the end Arabian Project would not loose anything they would just get their money back but they want all of that and extra things!

Arabian Project, can you please give the horse back for the exact amount you paid for it? That way they get their horse back and you get your money back. I am currently training a horse that I have bred for you but if this goes on any further and Sarah ends up paying or giving you more than you paid for the horse, I might consider canceling that order since you would have so much already.
